Group Health, Safety and Working Conditions Project Officer

Reporting to the Group Health, Safety and Working Conditions Manager, the employee will be responsible for contributing to deploy the Health and Safety strategy in all 14 countries when FM Logistic operates. To create a safe and healthy workplace for employees, while ensuring compliance with legal requirements. Contributing with ideas and actions to improve working conditions (well-being, psychosocial risks, diversity and inclusion, etc.).

The main tasks will be : 

• Deployment and implementation of our policy and projects: developing and implementing health and Safety programs/projects associated with our health and safety policy. Setting objectives and action plans at international level. Monitoring of global and local projects. Providing information to the company and support to the countries by controlling, monitoring and analysing key indicators. 

• Anchoring a safety culture: promoting the Group's health and safety policy among all employees (awareness-raising, communication, campaigns,etc.). Developing and running prevention, health and safety training courses, in particular for managers, but also for all employees. Providing advice and guidance to management and employees on health and safety matters. Conducting risk assessments, audits and identifying potential hazards in the workplace. Identifying new tools, best practices and ideas to be shared. 

• Global health projects: developing and implementing holistic wellbeing programs to support employees physical, mental and emotional health. Planning and facilitating workshops, seminars and events on topics related to health, wellness and engagement.

• As part of a continuous improvement process, you will regularly monitor health and safety regulations.

Profile and skills: 

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, engineering or a related field. 

• Three years' minimum of prior experience in health and safety roles, preferably in logistics companies. Experience in ergonomics is a real plus.

• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations, standards and best practices, at least at European level.

• Analytical mindset with the ability to analyse data, assess risks and develop strategies to mitigate.

• Attention to detail and the ability to conduct thorough audits and inspections.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of the team.

• Comfortable using Google or Microsoft office suites.

• As the position is in an international context, oral and written English is required, and French or Portuguese is a plus. 

Other :

• Based in the Paris region (Roissy, RER B, "Parc des expositions" stop) or Phalsbourg (near Strasbourg).

• Regular travel in France and abroad. Mini once a month.

• 2 days on Home Office per week are authorised, according to the professional commitments.
